What began as Steven’s fight to survive cancer became a living lesson in resilience: even when life knocks us sideways, we can still grow toward the light.
That truth now lives in Lessons from the Sunflower, a story-driven resilience project we’ve been shaping over the past three years to help children and youth explore courage, identity, hope, and growth through a more honest, hopeful, and memorable understanding of resilience.
